Johnson L. Callison Dies at Age of 71
After a period of illness covering four months, Johnson L. Callison passed away at his late residence, 378 Thirtieth street, yesterday afternoon, aged 71 years. He was a native of Indiana.
Callison was an old-time mining man, having associated with Governor Odie of Nevada in mining deals. For a time he resided in Hawthorn, Nev. He is survived by a wife, Emma M. Callison, and three sons, Lloyd M., Harry M., and Cecil L. Callison.
The funeral will take place from the family residence tomorrow at 1 PM under the auspices of the Alameda county bureau of relief, Knights of Pythias. The interment will be at Mountain View cemetery.
